I’m Rhoda, a UI/UX Designer with over 5 years of
experience designing web and mobile products
that balance user needs, business goals,
and technical feasibility.
ABOUT ME
I started learning web development before university, where I studied Computer Science and learned more about how digital products are built. While I enjoyed building things, I found myself increasingly drawn to the thinking behind them: coming up with ideas, sketching out possibilities, understanding problems, and figuring out how things could work better for the people using them.
That interest led me to UI/UX design, where I found a way to combine my technical background with my love for ideation, visual exploration, and product thinking. I enjoy working through the details of a product, from the initial concept to the decisions that shape its final form. Over five years later, I still enjoy the process of taking an idea from a rough sketch to a thoughtfully designed product.
Working on real products has taught me to consider more than usability and visual design. I pay attention to how people interact with a product, where they encounter friction, and how those experiences align with business goals. This naturally drew me to Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), which led me to earn a certification from Google Digital Academy.
I'm naturally curious about technology and what's happening around me, even if I don't always manage to keep up with everything. Outside design, you'll probably find me listening to music or watching a movie. When it comes to design, I enjoy exploring new possibilities and I am excited about what comes next.
